Excitel introduces Rs 592 plan with 400Mbps speed, free Disney+ Hotstar and more benefits, check details

By Divya Bhati: Homegrown internet service provider, Excitel, launched a new broadband plan on Wednesday for users who wish to enjoy OTT and DTH benefits. The plan, introduced as the "Cable Cutter Plan," is designed to provide users with a traditional television experience, offering 550 Live TV channels and digital streaming of popular OTT platforms like Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, and ZEE5. With this new plan, Excitel aims to help users streamline their television expenses without compromising on their favourite shows and movies.

The price of the new Excitel Cable Cutter plan starts at just INR 592 for a 12-month subscription. It includes lightning-fast internet speeds of up to 400 Mbps and provides access to a range of 12 OTT channels, including Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, Zee 5 along with 550+ Live TV Channels.

By bundling together Live TV, OTT content, and high-speed internet at an affordable price point, Excitel aims to offer convenience, variety, and affordability, catering to the ever-evolving entertainment needs of users. Apart from the Rs 592 plan, Excitel also offers another internet plan priced at Rs 999, known as the 'Smart TV with Smart Wi-Fi' package. This plan offers users an internet speed of 300 Mbps. Along with the high-speed internet, subscribers also gain access to 6 OTT platforms. Notably, there are no additional charges for installation or security deposit associated with this package.

Additionally, the 'Smart TV with Smart Wi-Fi' plan also comes with a 32-inch frameless Smart LED TV, which features an HD Ready display and is equipped with 10Wx2 speakers for a great audio experience. The TV offers multiple connectivity options, including HDMI, USB, and AV ports. It runs on Android 9.0, boasting 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM to support various applications and functions.
